What is MDF?

MDF stands for Medium Density Fibreboard. It is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, combining them with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure.
MDF is widely used in various applications due to its smooth and uniform surface. Common uses include:
Furniture: Ideal for creating affordable, stylish pieces.
Cabinetry: Popular in kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
Flooring: Often used as a substrate for laminate flooring.
Wall Panels: Perfect for decorative wall treatments.
MDF’s consistent strength and density make it a versatile and cost-effective material for both commercial and residential projects.

Do we only sell MDF?

While MDF is our core product, JustMDF offers a wide range of additional materials and services, including:
Wall panels and wall panelling kits
Egger decorative boards
